A water bearer had two pots tied to a pole. One was perfect, the other had a crack that leaked water along the way. Every day, the cracked pot delivered only half its share, and it felt ashamed of being “useless.” One day, it apologized to the water bearer. The man smiled and said, “Did you notice the flowers along your side of the path? I planted seeds there, and every day you watered them unknowingly.
